I have been dealing with a CEL for quite some time now since i put the 42dd 3" turbo back exhaust and spacer in. I have spent hours upon hours adjusting the spacer which I found has to be threaded all the way in.

At this point I have been driving the car as it sits for a few weeks and it seems like the CEL only comes on when the gas tank drops to just above quarter tank but not half tank. If I fill the car and drive it for awhile with several cool down periods the light goes out but only until the gas drops below that level. Does anyone know if the secondary fuel pump that is in my car is replaceable? I have a roadster so I know I have the pump but I cant find one anywhere. I did get a decent quote for $200 for the main pump brand new but I dont know if it would help. I do hear the pump prime but again it seems like its only when the gas level is above the spot mentioned above. The car does have a hesitation when the gas is below that level too so it is definitely fuel related I assume.

The confusion is that the code I am getting is related to the new o2 sensor I just put in.

I have had the code read multiple times from not only autozone but at the dealership that I work for and it comes back with cat below efficiency. I have adjusted the spacer multiple times and it cel stays out as long as I keep the gas level above about a third of a tank. At this moment the light has been out for a week and the gas is about to drop below 1/3 of a tank and I am more than certain the cel will return. This is why I am asking about the fuel pump. 42DD also mentioned the fuel pump as a possible issue but I question why its only when it gets below 1/3 tank that there is an issue.
