Service in 300 miles... what do I need to do?

Lots of rags : )
Filter is at a weird angle that promises to dump oil down your arm as you unscrew it, and its a tight fit to pull the filter past a couple coolant lines to remove, otherwise, pretty straight forward.

So I'm guessing that the 5w40 would be better than the 5w30? If so, I can get the larger oil filter, 6 liters (6.34 quarts) of OEM Pentosin 5w-40 Synthetic, and the ECS Magnetic Oil Drain Plug for $68.72 (including shipping). Is that it? Also, by the time I get around to doing the oil change, I will be past the 35k by almost 500 miles. If that is too much, I'll just bite the bullet and go to the dealer and do the oil change myself next time.
But seeing as how it will cost me close to $70 to do it myself, I may just go to the dealership anyways... that is, unless they charge an outrageous amount to do it.
Me personally
5qrts mobil1 0w40 = $30
Filter = $6
New crush washer.... what, $0.25?
Thats much cheaper personally. You can use valvoline synpower 5w30, its suppose to be a 502 oil now. Just use that.

If I remember right, the factory service interval on oil changes is insanely long, but most change their oil much more often. 500 miles isn't going to hurt anything IMO. I've gone 6K between changes on occasion, when I just didn't have enough time to squeeze an oil change in on the weekend. Oil looks at 6K just like it does at 5K, and if its synthetic, most likely will continue to work like it should much longer than that.

I would go buy 6qts of Mobil 1 5w30 and a fram oil filter @ walmart.
Take it all to the Audi Dealership, $25 for the change (free wash with change).
I was surprised at how little it was. At that time I never changed the oil on the TT because someone told me the splash guard was a pita.
Years later... I realize that was BS

Well, the dealership is going to do it on Thursday morningfor $80. I decided to just let them do it this time and do it myself next time. By then, I'll be prepared and I'll know exactly what I needand how to do it. Thanks for everybody's help!
