Default Shifting problem, 2004 3.2 w/DSG

It has only happened twice so far. But this is what is happening:

Pulled to the curb. Intended to shift into reverse and back into the parking spot. When I shifted to reverse is went to neutral and stayed there. THe shifter moved to the reverse position but the transmission stayed in neutral. The fix was to turn the car off, than restart.

This has happened twice so far. Is this the Electro-mechanical control for the transmission going out? Anyone have a similar problems?

As a side note, I had to replace the Electro-mechanical control unit in 2009. Long story, but it is still under warranty now.

Thanks,

Brian
