The key has a hairline crack right in the pivot zone, hanging on by a thread - My key fob got soaked with mountain dew and no longer works - and im not happy.
Im taking it these keys are Dealer Only items - what all will I need to bring to get a new key made? Im guessing ill have to bring the title and some form of ID and obv ill have my car and key with me at the dealer.

ok so im new to this forum. my friend has a TT and his fob doesnt flip open anymore. im sure its just some small twist spring in there that i need to replace, or put back in place, but i have no idea how to even open it really. yall got any walkthroughs with pics on how to open and maybe where that little spring is? also, his battery is dead. could yall tell me what kinda battery that is? im assuming u can get it at like radio shack or something.
also, before anyone flames, i did search, for a while, and thats how i found this thread, but its the closest i could find.

Pry apart lower section of transmitter
There they are: You'll need two 3 Volt Lithium Batteries.
