There is a handful fo people on wortex that have had there valve covers powedercoated and some that use rattle can.

Steve, if you were gonna port it some why not get the big port manifold for $319?

Thanks for that link Cincy I'm going to look for a Big port head tomorrow in a German yard, along with a vr6 MAF, and a T3 out of a Saab etc...

That parts list you have there XCell is freaking awsome. My budget will decrease alot this summer, however next Fall/Winter, it will easily double, until then it's one mod at a time

I do have a lead on a normal T28 for 100 bucks, I get it if the deal with the first guy falls through, I'll do the ATP exhaust manifold and call it a day, with supporting mods of course

The EH honing gives me about 16% better flow. Beyond that a bigger manifold won't really do much with out higher flowing heads and a BT. All I am doing today is polishing the exterior of the manifold and will also match the manifold to the gasket.

Then the whole mess gets installed tomorrow.

PS... I received another goodie today from a brown truck...

So whats with the intake manifold? Its still passenger side inlet and not a big port, and im guessing thats not your stock one.

It's not "my" stock one, but it is stock. I sent it in to Gethoned.comfor AFM (Abrasive Flow Machining) the inside is now polished. All that is left to do with it is to finish polishing up the outside for a little bling and a quick check to see if I need to grind the ports out a little to match the gasket.

Have fun polishing it, i would say it would take forever but im sure you have a power sander. Still a time consuming task but worth the effort if you like the bling factor.

Meh.. I think I'm going to quit, the pits are pretty deep and irregular. It's cleaned up pretty well now, I'll just pull it off sometime and take it over to a friend's house and have it powdercoated.
