Good call... I thought it was starting to look pretty good.. .but upon further inspection when I started to polish it, there were some deep pits that I missed when grinding and sanding. Oh well, it will look great when I get it PC'd.

 

you needed to move gradually to finer grit. If you really wantit polished, just add in the other grits and you will be golden.

 

I might try it again someday, but I'm doing the install tomorrow. Have to get most everything done, I'm out of town all next week and just have the following weekend to finish the last bit of prep before the track days on the weekend of the 14th.
