Bingo Replaced all 4 ignition coils with revised R model. Runs like a champ again. Still can't get over the parts dept at Champion Porsche -Audi. Every time I go there I feel like I should take my shoes off before entering. They also saved me $10 per coil.

I made nice with the parts guy, and ended up paying $30 each at the dealer (Champion Porsche/Audi), 5 minutes from my house. List is $40.51. I've seen them cheaper @ $28.00, but when you need them, you need them. If you're looking at them, be sure to get the R model, which is an upgrade.

Thank you very much... Do these go bad after 100k or are they good for the life of the car? In other words, you don't have to change them unless they are broke (whereas spark plugs you change at intervals).
