I have just bought a new Audi 2009 tts with 20k miles. I am getting a rattle from the a pillar garnish meeting the b pillar garnish just over my left ear. Very annoying. The dealer has told me they do not fix squeak and rattles...is this true?

When I press on the garnish with my hand the noise stops...should I try to fix it myself? I am worried the metal clips that hold the garnish to the body may break off if I pull off the garnish.

Any advice?
