Default Started the Headlights.

So.. by myself for the first time took the front bumper off by myself. took me about 3 hrs fully off headlights out aliens detached. Tomorrow I start on the headlight after work.

Found my leak in the alien.

Ok Serious question. Are these the lift points, if not where are they & how long can I let it sit on them for?

Those are the spots I put jackstands on usually. You REALLY should take off your wheels. It cuts so much time off the job being able to access your wheel wells easily.

If you do that (plus factor in experience) that bumper removal will be much quicker next time around. It's not bad if you have right tools. I might post on my blog a quick run down how to do it efficiently.

Be careful not to break your headlight tabs too.

Do you see that black rubber disc looking thing to the left of your jack stand?
Those are the mounting points.
However I've used the stock jack in the exact same spot that you have your jack stand to change a wheel.
Can't say I'd feel comfortableleaving it like that for an extended period of time.

Where it is now I used on a lift & I wasn't sure if those black rubber thing are the lift points. Even the manual isn't clear about it.

I did my headlights without removing my wheels, only because I could NOT remove my wheels LOL. I would turn the wheel to expose the bolts depending on which side I was working. I have since been able to remove my wheels but only after I had to purchase a very long breaker bar/socket set. I have pics in my fotki of my install.
