Stereo metal door removal
i would say just sand the parts well, get a good body primer (not Kragen or napa stuff) its only a couple bucks more than usual, and have them paint and clear as its should not cost much more. and time wise paint dries fast the clear takes a little longer. or you could get a old school single stage car paint that the auto paint stores can mix for you and just spray it and not deal with the clear. good primer is the key
I'm not using any primer. Just sanding the surface to give the paint something to stick 2. Everything must come out to be painted. I have to paint everything with the same process/paint, so that it all looks like it came that way(not an afterthought).
back to stereo metal door removal.... Does anyone know where I can get a kit to repair the cover so it can stay closed? I read about a "stereo cover flap fix kit" or something like that but the link and website that was provided wasn't any help.
