Think its my MAF starting to go out...at 47K miles? Does that sounds right, anyone know how to test if it is the maf or not? And where to get a new or rebuilt one?

Ok....cleaned the MAF and still the same problem, so I unhooked it and....still the same problem. I am thinking its either a bad plug or coil, dunno gona try the plugs first then the coils I guess.

did you pressure test your intake yet? I HIGHLY suggest you do so before guessing and buying new parts

Or atleast make the boost controller function or remove it completly? I would do that first since it requires no effort and is probably the cause.

Did the boost controller up to 6 turns real slowly and I dont see any boost higher than 17psi. I am going to pressure test the intake tomorrow I think.

Well pressure tested the intake finally and found out that my intake manifold gasket was leaking. I couldnt get past 4psi on my boost gauge without hearing all the air come out of the gasket. So I was probably running really rich. Now I tightened everything back down cleaned my DV and I can boost up to 21 psi and it is smooth and holds but I still get a studdering (really fast now). I am going to try to re pressurize my intake tomorrow to see what it does when I put some more boost in there but as of now this is the story. I am thinking if I dont have any other leaks then I fouled out a plug when I ran rich for so long and they need to be replaced. I am running the copper ones so its probably about time. Updates soon to come....

PS: Still have no codes.....

I had this exact same problem in my car, turns out when i put my ngk platniums in, they sparked to cold...
which in turn gave me the same physical reaction as your talking about in your car..the sputter, power loss and jerkyness...after changing the maf, cleaning air filters, and even putting in new coils i wrecked the front end into a snowbank and managed to get the insurance company to fix the motor studder thing with my accident....problem was the spark plugs..haha who would have thought. They told me that becaused they sparked a little bit colder then your oem stuff, that it can lead to coil pack misfires...............check your plugs man

I had the exact same problem and just fixed it about two hours ago. Turns out my plugs were gapped to much (at about .040). I put them at .028 and the problem was solved. I can't beileve how sensitive this car is!!

Adjusting my DV fixed it slightly, but the plugs fixed it completely.
