nice pics! i personally preffer silicon hosing over shinny aluminum. but thats just me. still a clean setup, but the FMIC still look a little smaller tell you the truth.

what are the dimentions of that FMIC ... (side note: bracket construction, yarg!!! i really hate any form of welding if required.)

Core thickness : 2 3/4"
Inlet/Outlet size : 2 3/4"

There was no welding. He just got a long peice of aluminum and cut it into 3 strips and 6 bolts to support the core.

one quick question Where is the DV????I think he relocated the DV, correct me if im wrong.

same place, just where it goes is changed. Its just covered with the recir hose and the bend that goes over it.

I have heard that it is better to have metal ic pipes rather than silicone because the silicone ones tend to flex. Is this true or does it not really make a difference?

the silicone pipes are more heat resistant, and the proper silicone hoses have re-inforcements which prevent flexing. tey are actually quite stiff and hold up a lot more pressure than one thinks.

(they are not as soft as the wifes ***** [sm=happy046.gif])

The aluminum can also transfer heat better than silicon. It can draw out some of the heat in the charge pipe.....unfortuatly, it can absorb heat from the engine aswell.

win some u lose some ... its up to personal prefference.

im gonna grab the tcarbon setup when i come back from vacation, should be a good setup. ill make sure i get lots of pick
