Default temp gauge

Hey I just wanted to see if anyone had anything like this in the past. On my drive home from work last night I noticed that my temp gauge was higher than normal. It normal is just slightly past the half way line on the gauge(1200 clock postion) Now it is slightly past the next line to the right toward the "H" side. It was 39deg. F outside so it wasn't hot conditions.I noticedthe nextmorning when I got upto go to work that theTemp Gauge when I stuck the key in the ignition was oneslightlyrightof the firstline up past the the bottome lineon the Cold side. It seems to be inline with the higher normal temp when at operating the car. Has anyone seen this, I hope that it is an indication problem and not a serious problem. I was going to hook up a digtal temp cauge on one of the raditor hoses and see what the temp. is. What should I look for on those temp. Numbers at normal operation temp. Thanks guys Dmitry

lol, join the club!

Is it me or are we seeing a bunch of posters complain about their gauges in the last few days?

I would verify the true temp as per xclr8tt's post just to be sure though. Then, when you're done with that, come vote in the Poll someone else posted a few days ago. https://www.audiforums.com/m_439649/tm.htm

Channel 51 is a time averaged number or something along that line.

Sounds like you may have a bad temperature sensor. Pick up the Green one and install it like this.
