They look duller than steve's in his sig. I said after they have cured for a few days you should wet sand them and wax them. This can be done on the car to if need be.

But if you said they arent dull dont worry about it then.

Second that. I was trying compound after the wet sanding and it wasn't getting to where I wanted. I waited a couple days and waxed with Mother's carnuba and the shine came through. I still don'tunderstand how yours are so light with 4 coats of Nightshadesand mine are almost black with 2 coats. I did not wet sand the in between coats of Nightshades, just buffed.

I willl be doing my taillights by the end of August. Speaking of tinting things, I just got my windows tinted 20% and the car looks 10 X better. People always say to chip for the first mod. i say tint for the 1st mod
This was my first mod and it changed the whole look of the car. When I got it it had purplish grey tint. I wish I could replace the windsheild casue the tint around its edges look bad... but enough of my OCD. Can you tell I"m a visual person and not a mechanic?

wet sand, lots of clear. it already looks nice, even for the lighting... it seems to have a matte finish.

I wonder if Plastic-X would be a good idea? you'll have to apply it with every detail pretty much, but it might add a more wet look to the lens. Either way, that stuff will deteriorate, like any paint without clear, so it's best to seal it.
