Tips needed for car storage
Greetings!
In the past with my older classics, I would put a cover over the car and put dryer sheets in the interior,
under the hood, underneath the car and around the car. Also, fill the tank, run staybil through the fuel
system and pull the battery.
I sold my last classic in the Spring and purchased the 01' TT. Since this is strictly my spring, summer,
early fall car, instead of a car cover, I was thinking about purchasing a "Zip and Seal" bag for the car, put
some desiccant bags and about (10) bars of Irish Spring soap in the interior and another ten or so around the
perimeter of the bag, while still filling the gas tank, run staybil through the fuel system and pull the battery.
For all of you folks that store your TT for the season, is there a problem with what I propose to do?
Thanks.
Rudy
