mod tips needed
Just bought a 01 1.8t looking to do some mods but I bought it used. Has 100k miles but very clean only paid 6k for it from a buddy of mine. He work at a dealership and gave me bottom dollar.Had a couple ?'s How much should it cost to get timing belt changed. Also want to get exhaust and in take what are good mods for both.

For the tb service, if you can do it yourself, look at the kits from ECS tuning. Otherwise, start calling dealers and specialists for prices including the tb, wp, tensioners, rollers, and t-stat.
As for mods, chip it and upgrade your diverter valve. It's a night and day difference. GIAC, AWE, etc, etc. Do a search for info.

Run you about $500 for a GIAC chip, $40 for 710N DV (unless you find used one)
If you want a used 710N, PM s4tech i think he's still got one... That's where I got mine
