Does anyone know a really good tire installer in the greater New York Area? I have heard that it is easy to damage rims when installing or removing the run flats for winter tires.

 

tirerack has prefferred installers.. that might be a good place to start. also try a tuning shop that specializes in corvettes. many vettes require run flats therefore they'd be profiecient at it.

 

Take before and after pictures. Even if the shop says it will cover its work, pics are good insurance.

Speak with a manager and have him inspect the rims personally & agree that any damages will be covered by the shop. Otherwise don't get them done there.
