So, the little orange light comes on almost every time I drive it now. I follow the instructions in the manual and shut the car off and it does go away till I drive it the next time.

What is this and what should I do?

 

does it flash at you, or is it just a solid light?

 

my fog light is constantly on... as long as your not losing traction its probably no big deal unless its one of those little things that bothers you

 

flashes = its working and reducing power to keep you stable
stays on 100% = usually means maf is dying or dead.

 

It's on solid until I turn the car off.

Most likely...do you have a check engine light at all?

 

if the MAF is jsut straight dead the car may not think its plugged in resulting in the light staying on solid and no CEL.
