are cooling problems common with the TT's?

just got a TT180 about a month ago.

car is rarely even driven. also audi certified.

problem when i pulled into the garage a few minutes ago, i let the car run about a minute before shutting it off. the temp guage was over 3/4 of the way til "H" on the guage.

also noticed right over the overflow bottle underneath the car it left a small stream of coolant on the garage floor. possilbly it could just be air in the system???

car has only 15k miles on it and clean/maintained top notch.

any help is appreciated. TIA

 

i have no idea i have the same exact problem tho. but im not loosing collant anywhere

 

yeah I do notice temp on my TT moves up even in cold weather.....it was 60F out...without AC on. driving locally my temp guage moved 1 notch right of middle.
But not leaking coolant.

This will be 1st full AZ summer with my TT......I'm worry about going 2 notch right of middle. But other TT owner said Audi do run hot...so its normal.
