Cooling problems
Hello All,
I'm in the final stages of repairing a 93 Audi Coupe 2ltr (engine code ACE). I suppose a little backround would help. The car belonged to my mother in law and has been sitting idle for the last 2 years due to head gasket failure. She gave me the car and i've overhauled the engine (head skim, complete head overhaul, rings, water pump and thermostat).
I have the engine running (badly i must admit but i think its due to bad petrol, plugs and leads) but the water does not appear to be circulating.
Can anyone help me with the cooling problem? Any other information regarding this project would also be helpful.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
Regards,
Kevin.

open the filler cap and run the engine and look inside to see if the coolant is flowing,
bleeding there should be a bolt on the part where you fitted the thermostat or a bleed nipple on the pipe work ( no funny comments please on nipple lol )
then run the engine till the cooling fan cuts in if it doesn't the fan could be the problem
