TT Tint tricks??
So the windows move up and down a little everytime you open and close your door. Well they tell you not to put your windows down after getting them tinted, so is there any tricks to disable this feature for a week or at least while they are tinting?
Disabling it might have a worse affect than leaving it alone...
I'm pretty sure it goes down to clear the weather stripping.
If you disable it you won't have a good seal, your window will flex each time you open and close the door, and it will drag against the weather stripping. I'd just leave it, I don't remember seeingany posts about tint getting screwed up by it.

I "heard" the guy who owns it got it that way from an ex who owed him $$$ and wasn't able to repay it. Now he has too many othermoney pits(Datsun 240Z, Audi TT) to bother fixing it.
That's just what i heard...

You haven't had them tinted yet? Are you asking if he needs to re raise the windows while he tints? If so, then yes he will want to manuallyflick the latches to reraise the windows before he tints. If he doesn't you will end up with a 1/2" or so gap at the bottom of your windows. Once he is done you reset the doors so you can open and close normally.
If you were just asking what you need to do after he tints, then nothing. The little the move up and down while opening and closing the doors shouldn't hurt.
