Tune ups
Ok quick question, I figured out how to reset the service meter and light on my car. But I figure I should actually do the service. I plan on doing the tuneup myself and I just want to know what would be suggested for doing the tune up..... oil change, oil filter, etc?
service light only refers to oil changes though. Its set for some crazy high number if I remember correctly, like 7,500 miles. You can change the service interval with vag-com if you have it, or have access to it.
I set mine to 4,000 miles.

oil change is what it sounds like de de dehhh!! oil and filter.
tune up is a tune up! everycar is different but the TT has coil packs so you don't do cap and rotor and deff not wires. just spark plugs. and i would do the fuel filter and if you have stock intake the intake filter too. and hey since your spending a good amount of time on your car do the Haldex service too, if a Q. just saying

Well obviously i will do the oil and such, i was jw if there was any hidden things, like headwasher fluid, (totally kidding). But yeah the service reminder is set to 10000 miles which is a bit rediculous. I just wanted to double check with some other people.
