We got 3 TT done with InMotion and 2 with GIAC and 1 with APR. With similar mod to the cars, you can not tell the difference. Like all generic tune... stage 1/2... the ECU is smart enough to do the fine tuning which is why InMotion can do it for less. They do not Dyno and custom tune to specific car and mods which is why they do not try to act like they need to sell at that price. Even GIAC, APR, and all the other... stage 1 is stage 1. Same adjustment for the same model then ECU will fine tune to the flow and performance of the car and mod. Chances are if you know what setting to put, you can probably program the ECU yourself with the proper software/hardware. It is just a computer.

When you go custom tune then that is a different story. Stick with someone with a proven history for custom tuning.

I am using InMotion on my car (AMU) and never had a problem.
My mods are: custom intake, Forge intake inlet, 42DD downpipe, Forge/Blueflame exhaust, underdrive pulleys, FMIC, intake spacer, and the normal tune up stuff with InMotion Stage2 with lifetime programming. I am debating on a boost machine and DV but don't see the need right now for my purpose.

FYI: I forgot his name but you can call him up if you have concerns. He programmed and shipped my ECU same day. From WA to OR and back roughly 48 hours. That is good response no matter what company you are.

Don't they provide an option where they send you a OBD cable to do the reprogramming yourself?

Default tuning your own with ODB

They will send you the equipment to do your own, but the deposit that you must put down is huge. It is, however, refundable once you return the device to them.

I just yanked out my ECU and sent it to them. 2 days wasn't long at all...
