Default Turbo Life Span

So I know that there have been threads on here discussing the expected life span of the k04 but I was wondering how long other people have gone so far. Im about to do the timing belt job a second time and have 165K on the car. I have read 150k is typical but will it go longer? Is it possible that it wont fail completely? I am very particular about oil changes and such so I am hoping to get a little more out of it. The reason for the post is that my car is chipped and I run 24 psi out of it which tapers down to like 20-22 depending on air temps. Im getting paranoid because it seems in 4th gear it doesnt hold like all the other gears. it drops down to like 12-15 but as soon as I hit fifth it holds right back at 22. Is there something I should check into?
