Have seen a few issues with running them. Dont think the vent port is closed at idle like it is on the forge which is very important.

I have one and it works really good. Not as loud as my bov, but has a nicer sound to it however. Its a great valve and is easily adjustable. Plus if you dont want to vent, you can just plug the vent port.

its closed at idle. Thats all you need for it to run correctly. The ssqv will be and many run it on a 1.8t. All this is in the FAQ if you would take the time to read it.

i did check out the FAQ but i read somewhere that you couldnt run a bov at all that you had to run a dv bucause the air was not going back into the intake system and you would run rich because of that. thanks for getting my facts all straightend out. can you tell a difference in perfomrance between the forge splitter and the hks??

So which would you take as more factual, some random post by a newish member or the FAQ?

The ssqv is supposively a better valve, but its not worth the extra $75+ for it. The only real advantage it has is it cant leak since its a pull type but a properly tuned forge splitter hybrid or 004 bov will both perform just as well for far less. Not to mention they have great customer service and lifetime warrenties that they truley honor
