Uni or Tapp
honestly i dont think you could do better regardless of your choice. obviously i will be going uni 1200cc on my tt whenever i get my crankshaft back
. im hoping to make some good power. ive seen success on both platforms though. ive got alot of people uni bt software and pretty much never had a issue and the cars have stock like driveability.

They only real diff is that uni can adjust timing based on octane and iats depending on if your engine is built or not. This makes a race file not needed. With the tapp file you will have to adjust timing yourself via unisettings which isnt a big deal. Still have to say that the nbo2 is the biggest deciding factor
so let me get this straight, If i go to the track and use race fuel. with uni i don't have to do anything. and with tapp i'd have to plug into the ecu and change some settings. Is that what you mean?
Something like that. Tapp has a separate race file, but if you wmi or can advance timing, you will have to do that with vagcom. You should have a vag anyways and its still needed for both tunes to max out your setup
sorry to bring it up again. but is it true you can't go mafless if you got a nbo2? i have a 02 amu audi tt 225. some1 told me i have to go with a maf. or is it just that tapp doesn't have the file.
