well the mechanic found a probblem with the ecm cable, it was all coroated, and the fuel relay was replaced, now the car starts, he said that water was getting into the ecm mount, and the cables were just getting moldy, anyone ever heaerd of this? could that have been the probblem of my car just dying out and not starting?

Oh snap!
So did they replace your ecu or just the cable?
The ECM/ECU is the car's computer, so yes that would cause this problem.

if im correct they are replacing the cables, because the car starts right up now, are these cars faulty as far as the water issues getting into there?

^^^or it has flood damage....no..i'm just kidding..but seriously tho they are pretty much hidden from water unless the wiper arm cowel is up and someone sprayed water in there to reach the cables. think about it Audi and other Car makers try and put the ECU in the best location to protect it.
