so i finally got the proper software 311-2 for my vag com. It located the interface, i have the right com port. but when i went to scan, windows closed the program saying it ran into a problem and windows would send me information... they didn't send me jack.

i've tried clicking up the "about" button and it says "windows is checking for a solution for the problem", then it says "vag com has stopped working", a problem has caused the program to stop working correctly, windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.


i've turned of all my firewalls... and still nothing.


help? i have a cel and it won't pass inspection in nc with it.

btw i have a new compaq laptop running windows vista
