Default VTDA/TTDA

In a magical and purely hypothetical land, if there was a groupy buy for either the TTDA or VTDA, would you be interested?

I guess I didnt construct the poll right, because my post showed up after the selection istead of with it. What I really wanted to know was if there was a group buy for these if anyone would be intersted, hypothetically.

I have a feeling Steve wouldn't do a groupbuy discount. I think his business is pretty good on VTDA and TTDA already... but who knows.

I just bought mine. Its on the Fedex truck for delivery today.

As for comparison Steve has many side-by-sides on his fotki website.

I'd be in for a group buy on the VTDA as I'm in the market. It's worth a shot anyway.

I wouldnt think so either for exactly the same reasons, but I wanted to gauge interest b4 even bothering him with such a question. I wouldnt want to disgruntle him or anything, it just seemed there was a bunch of new users/pending owners I wanted to find out how many would be interested.

ok.....i bought the TTDA because it can be used as both the VTDA and TTDA....you can take the end cap off the TTDA and you now have the VTDA....plus with the TTDA and the cap(with the two alum rings) you can create a very nice cold air intake....like a ram air system when routing the special air craft hose(fights heat big time) to the lower front grill. I'll post some pics later....i painted my alum rings for the lower grill a nice glossy black. hope this helps

I like your thinking:

I'm probably going to run a cold air feed also from the front even with the VTDA. The hose and the VTDA will only have a few inches between so I don't think it will pose a huge "heat" issue.

Well the only reason that I did not go with the TTDA is that when I run water/meth injection does it really matter how cold the air going into the turbo is? The VTDA is a bit deeper and throater and that is the sound that I personally was looking for. That was the reason why I got the VTDA instead.
