Is the wastegate normally open then it's closed by the N75 to allow boost? 2001 Quattro 225 AMU Type

 

If its in your hand, it should be closed. The wastegate is open when in vacuum and then closes when you go wot and then opens again when the psi setting is reached (well, creeps open before that) to keep it there

 

Thanks for the reply. Guess I'll do another leak test. Don't think my N75 is reading correct resistance either. My meter has X10 ohm setting and when I test across the N75 is goes to 1 which I'm assuming would be 10ohms? Thanks again.
