Hi guys,Im new to the forum and hoping you would help me out with this one.
i've seen the these on ttstuff. and just curious as to which ones better.
I know I need a new dv before i get chipped, so these came to mind . I enjoy
the sound of the blow off valve, but just wondering if the performance is effected
by the difference in how they're made?

You dont really need a new dv before getting chipped, just when yours poops out.
Both will perform the same, the only differnce is do you want more sound, then you want a splitter

 

make sure you do a cold side relocate with the splitter, otherwise in my opinion its not worth getting

 

I do enjoy the sound but I dont know what the cold side relo. is for? mind schooling me on that one? I appreciate it.

 

your dv now is being fed from the upper pre-ic charge pipe, and is located toward the back of the engine bay... if you relocate it to the post ic pipe just before the throttle body, the dv is moved toward the front of the engine bay and allows for a cleaner sound, also sending cooler air back into the intake in not bad either

 

Now that makes sense thanks for the info guys. I just finished reading a few past posts and I think I'll go with the dv007 after i get chipped. I'm new here so i really do appreciate this.
