I agree with achTTung.. those beers barely pass as water [8D]

My favorites in no particular order are:

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Eye of the Hawk
Anchor Steam
Guiness
Chimay
Tried Anchor Steam. I do really like their Wheat beer.

You guys (male & female) should visit Australia and try some of our Beers (NOT Fosters crap), I am sure you would really like it. Oh, and it packs a bit more punch than Bud

well, at least you guys (and girl) have good taste in cars....
In my defense I only drink beer(water as you guys called it) when it's dollar drafts!
Otherwise it's soco & lime, cosmos, and grey goose martinis

achTTung, that might be a risky offer [sm=badidea.gif]. Haven't you heard how much we drink? [sm=alcoholic.gif]

Here is a pic or a standard Aussie Stubby of beer:

Not really, this is the famous Darwin Stubby from the Northern Territory where they really do know how to drink

you should be chuggin that beer so we have some reference to how big it is.

from what I remember 2 liters is roughly 70 ounces. so about 1.75 40s here in the states.

I'd say no sweat to that aussie stubby if i was 21 again and at PSU.

HAHA.

wishing and dreaming for a trip to Australia so hear this: if you get achttung a plane ticket and he can pack me in one of his suitcases, him and i will split the bar tab!

I am headed to Austraila next September when I get back to the states. I may have to try some of that beer, but for now if I had to stick with my fav, its the stuff that my dad makes at his house.(blackforest lager) Nothing like a homemade brew in a 22oz. swingtop to get your night started.

Guinness is a little too heavy for me to sit and drink. I like it with a meal, I love Irish Car Bombs, but drinking more than one starts to build up a funky taste on my tongue. That Ubu I mentioned is probalby what you could imagine a 'lite' Guiness would be. The color is just a little lighter (you can almost see light thru it if you hold it up to a flood light), its got a good strong taste, and its 7% alcohol, so its perfect with dinner before an evening of night skiing. Knock a couple back, and it steadys the nerves enough for me to hit a quarter pipe at full bore, even though I am absolutely unskilled at ariel manuvers.
