My TT always has window problems and it pisses me off A LOT! so this time the drivers side window goes down an inch and i have to keep pressing the switch for it to go down. it goes up perfectly but when it goes down, it only goes down an inch at a time. very VERY annoying. anyone know what it can be? local mechanic said it could be the motor and i they replaced the switch but that wasnt it. THANK YOU

 

Have you tried the reprogramming of the auto windows?

I picked this up from the forum;

Drop window to the bottom (holding the switch)
Raise the window all the way up and release the switch
Then pull switch up again for 2 seconds and release

This reprograms the auto down/up and the window drop on door opening.

 

I've used the key in the door to reset a window. Wouldn't go all the way up, I brought them up holding the key to lock in the driver door, and its been fine since.
