Hello every one. i have a 02 audi tt 180 hp, and my driver side window does not go up or go down. I took it to a small shop that deals with audis and vw, the thing is they checked it out but they are charging me $950 to fix my motor and my regulator with labor too. I think thats kind of an outragous price to fix a window. whats the average price for a motor and a regulator for a window?

 

I know it's a lot! I wouldn't be suprized if thats an ok deal.

 

If I wasn't feeling lazy I'd get you a part number.
But check out www.germanpartsonline.com I have always found their prices to be reasonable.

 

My window tends to go up halfway, come down, stick then go up a little more, stop, then close.Did you have any of these symptoms? Are those signs of a failing motor? That price seems outrageous.
