ok I have searched and come up with nothing on this problem.

What is happening is my driver window works correctly except it does not go up all the way when closed and leaves the 10mm or so that it rolls down when door is opened. I have replaced the switch in that door and it reads correctly in the dash as far as being open or closed but the window always has the gap. Is there some trick that I am missing?

 

Never mind. I found a post with the down, up, release, and hold up reset trick and it works just fine again.
