Default Windows, lights, action!

Well, in trying not to always lurk, here's a minor update:

I had my windows tinted for $190.
32% (legal) in the front and 20% (legal) in the back. It looks really really good. A slight problem with the drivers side window on the bottom where the laminant began to peel up on the lower aft edge cause of the window rolling down that little bit w/door open/closure, but I took it back and they fixed it no prob.

Had to replace a 6Wparking light bulb that cost over $10. I guess I had it coming for buying a German car.

Went 126mph with ease. 180hp Q, all stock.

And generally loving my car.

So I'm assuming that since our windows do go down about 1/4 inch when opening the door... when I get my windows tinted soon, I should make sure that they take that into considertion.

you shouldnt have to worry about it, just make sure you keep the windows up for a couple days, thats all, got mine tinted 15% all around love it, no probs, The TT is one of the best looking cars with tinted windows.

Youcould pull the window fuse for a few days to prevent the automatic feature and accidental openings, just dont slam the doors hard! (This will also disable the trunk popper too FYI).

Pulling the fuse is a really good idea. But I guess I should have mentioned that I'm already passed the three+ day curing period, so all the windows look great and no problems whatsoever.

And to anyone considering tinting but not so sure... DO IT!!! It will make your car so much more fun to have, you'll love it.
