i have a tear/gaping hole in my drivers seat on the left side of the back. its sort of square - about the size of a dollar bill folded in half. anyway, my local reuhpolstery place wants like $350 for it, the dealership wants $600 to replace the back (and that's the part only - installing myself). Anyone know where to find a replacemet seat and/or back or know of another solution that costs less than this? it's not like the seat is ruined. I don't even think anyone else has ever noticed but me.

btw it's tan leather. no cracks or too much wear any place else so i figure some kind of replacement should match alright.

Check classifieds here and on audizine and VW vortex. Seone parting out a car would sell a full set of seats for that much or less.
