I was wondering what type of coil packs the 2001 A4 2.8 quattro engine uses. I searched ECS tuning for them, but they don't appear to carry them.

 

because the 2.8 doesn't have coil packs. we have ignition coils which is essentially the same thing but it just looks different. it's right in front of the end at the top when you open the hood. well you can only see it if you have your beauty cover off

 

word. follow the spark plug lines. it's a sure fire way to find the coils... or plugs.... on any car
