I have a 99 fwd v6 car i was thinking of throwing a 2.7 in just for fun since the blocks are similar would i just need a harness and computer? the 2.8 trans should bolt right up. would i have to code the cluster still for a 2.8? thanks

 

Read through the info above and search the forum for similar threads - even keeping the 5-speed (whose gearing is less than ideal for the torque curve of a 2.7T), there still a ton of parts you need. There's no such thing as just dropping in an engine and a couple extra parts.
