Question 1.8t coolant flange

Hi so i finally decided to tackle the leak coming out of my coolant flange however the diy thread made it look so easy. Mine looks like a friggin maze and web of hard hoses. Where do i start? Do i have to take out the t shape hose? Here's a pic. Thanks guys.

Just undo the clamps and wrestle it off. It's kind of rigid and will fight you but there's no deep science to it. Loosen 3 clamps and take it out.

Not sure which DIY you used, but when I did mine I used this one: DIY: Beginner’s guide to B5/B5.5 1.8T Coolant Flange Replacement - VW Passat Forums : Volkswagen Passat Forum
Made it a lot easier, the oil line going to the turbo is what kept holding me up so this explains it pretty well.

Thanks guys. I was able to wrestle the hoses out. And that diy helped me alot specially getting rid of the lower left bolt. Now im only left and stuck with bottom hose! Grrr that thing wont budge lol.
