i actually lost power with the K&N Short ram i had.. i put the stock airbox back on. either i needed a bigger cone filter, or something. i was getting the worst acceleration ever

on a 1.8 that sounds about right. unless you have some kind of heat shield, when you take off the stock airbox that sucks cold air from the front of the car (and that flows well enough for 400hp), and put on a cone filter that sucks air from right next to the glowing red turbo, you will loose alot of power. i wish my car came with the stock airbox, then i wouldnt have to have made that big *** shield.
