Default 1998 2.8 AVANT quattro auto will not move in any gear LOng post

I have a 1998 audi a4 avant quattro with the 2.8 and the automatic tranmission. I am having issues trying to get the car to move. When going through the gears I do no hear or feel anything from the transmission.
the car was in a wreck and it ad damage to the radiator and transmission lines. all of that was replaced. I then added 2 and a half quarts of Valvoline synthetic transmission fluid. the test to see if it would move and it did not.

i start looking for something wrong physically.
no water in the transmission controller
cleaned the multifuction switch plug
checked the transmission controller for corrosion

I then unplugged the transmission controller(TC) and the car moved in all of the gears.
I find this strange so i started a ebay vag com scan on all of the controllers with the TC plugged in and after the scan was done (I did not clear any codes and the ebay vag com would not read the transmission controller on this car) but the car moved in all the gears and I was able to drive the car up and down the street. I bring the car back and prep for the next weekend of working on this car. next weekend i begin to scan the car for ABS codes with the new real VAG com that I got. and all of sudden the car would not move again.

I hooked up the vag com and added more transmission fluid it has about 7 quarts in it now (No Movement)
I unplugged the TC (No Movement)
I swapped the TC with another one with the same part number (No movement)put the old one back in
I swapped the Multifunction switch (No movement) i put the old one back in
I checked relays and fuses (Nothing)
I scan the car and I do not get any transmission based codes on the Engine nor the transmission controller.
the car does have a ABS light on and a flashing brake light indicator
No broken Axles, No strange noises or jerks or anything

I do notice that the car is hard to go into park. I ran vag on the TC and can see when I change the shifter position the Vag registers all of the gears except park.I have vag logs available if someone needs to see them.

I plan on checking the the strainer, and the shifter since it is hard to shift into park. with all of this said It seems like its something electronic but I am not a transmission expert. I got a 5spd fwd transmission to put into this car If i cannot get it moving I hate to ruin a quattro and make it a front trak but the fwd tranny is free and I hate to put another auto transmission in and it does the same thing.
I know someone out there has something for me

I wonder if your gear selector switch is moving (registering it with the VAG), but the actual lever on the transmission that actually puts it in gear or out is not moving with it (or barely)..the mechanical side of the trans....hope that makes sense...

I see where you are going with this. here is what ive seen while checking and testing. While replacing the multifunction switch I had my partner move the shifter while i was looking at the gear selector on the transmission. and it was moving like its supposed to. Now I cant see inside of the transmission but maybe you are right, maybe the piece inside of the transmission is damaged, or not in line. the electronic piece of the switch is working because i have the vag plugged up and it registers every gear except for park this car was in a front end collision. with all of the testing i have done I think that if i took it to audi i believe that they would have quoted me new transmission. I am checking on transmissions right now. I am going to keep brainstorming and if anyone has anything throw it out there because a new transmission+ the same problem= 1 pissed off mechanic lol

Since you have no codes, which is odd...but, I've read somewhere that the two solenoids N92 and N93 control the fluid pressure to operate the gears from the TCM....have you checked those? If those are not working or the wires are corroded, you would get your symptoms....also, the connector for those solenoids is right in front of the trans pan and those wires could be corroded...if you can get under your car or put it on a lift....

Default logs attached of solenoids for your comparison

No codes is odd to me as well I have checked and cleaned that plug also I do not remember any broken wires can you put a vag on your a4 and compare it to the outputs to my log of the solenoids i am attaching it in a csv format. check it out and let me know something

Would love to, but...I don't own any Audi Automatics...all mine are manual transmissions....

I know these are just random thoughts here, but brake switch is good right? Shift Lock?

You're not getting any codes, but the VAG is SEEING the transmission module? All the time?

Smart man, the only problem with the manual transmissions are those expensive Dual mass flywheels. but the vag is seeing the trans controllers everytime(I have tried two and it is seeing both controllers) the vag sees the brake light switch when i step on the brakes. The brake light indicator on the dash is blinking though. when you start the car the car beeps about 4 - 6 times. The ABS light on as well I have read that causes the car to beep and it causes the brake light to blink because I believe that the ABS controller is completely failed the vag cannot connect to the ABS controller. the shift lock is functioning when i put it in neutral I have to step on the brake to move the shifter. im looking at another transmission
