I have a 1998 A4 2.8 (FWD). My transmission took a crap on me so I found one that matched (Code DRD). The problem is it didn't come with the torque converter. The car has 160,000 on it so even if the converter was functional I figure it should be replaced. Does anyone know if a torque converter from a DVT transmission will work with my tranny? I found one of those on Craigslist.Thanks.
