Default 2.8 quattro exhaust?

Has anyone found either a borla or magnaflow exhaust for the 2.8 quattro (98)? All I can find is a milltek stainless, and its around 1000 bucks. I am having a hard time finding a place to order parts.

you just get a universal one from them I think the magnaflow one is 14085 (something like that) and then have a shop weld it up. It'll be a lot cheaper than buying a prefabed exhaust.

thats what i did i really dont see no point in spending $1000 on exhaust when you can just get some custom ones made, it might not be all shiny and pretty looking but exhaust is exhuast, the shinyness is not going to give you any extra power and its going to get dirty anyways so blah

Get one on eBay for around $150 shipped. Magnaflow models 14815, 14816, and 14862 are the most popular for the B5 A4.

A good one here:

And on of the best ones for comparison to stock (I believe this is the Magnaflow 14816):

While on the topic of exhaust... what is everyone paying for a full custom? I shopped 3 different shops here in the Columbus, OH area and was quoted almost $1,500 by all 3 shops. WTF. [:@]

I am going from manifolds back, due to a flex pipe problem, but seriously $1,500? If i had a pipe benderI could do this myself. I rewelded some pin holes when i firstgot the car but I'm ready to do it right, and NOT get raped in the process.
