Default 2.8 V6 Exhaust suggestions?
I want to upgrade my exhaust within my budget(no more than 500).
If you have done it on your car. Let me know what you did!!

Vibrant perf-core 12" resonator and Magnaflow 14816 muffler. Don't bother buying a premade catback. FAQ sticky post up top will explain it. These two parts will free up some flow and give a great tone.

so would the resonators be replacing the cat's?
the only thing im concerned with is the emission test( although i have a 96)
i also considered a straight pipe

No, it replaces the stock resonator (mid-muffler).

the muffler runs around $160 on ebay if you make the guy an offer, and it cost me $100 to have a piece of pipe bent and welded in.

if i replace the cat back with a straight pipe will the check engine light go on?
