Has anyone run test pipes or their 2.8L? My flex pipe ripped off my passenger side cat and now has a nasty leak. We don't have e-check here in my state so I'd love to pick up a power, and possibly some MPG without the restrictions of a cat, but curious if there's something I can do to not get the CEL to trigger?

What would my best bet be...short of replacing the cat with an OEM one, i've heard they are outrageous in prices. Thanks all.

 

Have a new flex section welded in. They're $30ish. You'll be obnoxious and loud with testpipes and would need a custom tune to eliminate the secondary O2 from the ECU monitors.
