2001 1.8T auto transmission not shifting
Hello All
BTW thanks for all of the help on my "why does my spare tire sticker say I have a 2.8 when I have a 1.8t" issue, still unresolved but.... My auto transmission after a 20-30 minute drive will shift down when I stop, then will not shift out of 1st when I start out again. Tiptronic works fine. A little research showed that I can search for codes (i will do this tommorrow) maybe the control module, or it may need a fluid change, or maybe the tranny is shot. Any ideas? Thanks.
