why does the oil intake fitting have such a small inlet? Can I just put a wider inlet or will it be to much flow??

 

its called an oil restrictor for a reason. the GT ball bearing turbos only need about 30 psi or so of oil pressure, our engines put out close to 100psi in the upper RPM range. if you remove it you will blow clouds of smoke out your tailpipe.
