7 codes, weeee

The first part of the diagnosis process was advised. Clear the codes and rescan later to see what comes back. You have 200k+ miles. The other part of the procedure is to replace parts that are known to only have a ~100k life if you don't know that they've been replaced before. 02 sensors should be replaced at or before 100k miles even if you don't have a CEL. They get lazy. ECTS simply gets gunked up over time and gives a lazy signal (even if it tests ok with a multimeter.) Cleaning the IACV is just routine. These are all pretty simple DIY procedures. If you intend to keep the car for another year or so then do these things. If not, get out of it while you can. If your car was well taken care of, you shouldnt expect to have to replace your head gasket for another 50k, and thats the point where you would want to ask yourself "is it worth it?" So all the wear items that should have already been replaced, you have faults for. Clear and rescan to be sure, but I don't know how much further evidence you need when your car is acting like a dog.

A few hundred bucks I can deal with. I just want to make sure I'm not going to wind up in the 800-1000 range before i get into buying things. At that point I think the out lay of cash is just not worth it.
