Yes, I can let it idle for a short period of time with no trouble at all. But, as soon as it has been idling for an extended period of time the idle will become erratic. I can drive for many miles with no trouble, but as soon as I hit that long stop light the cel will come on and the idle will start jumping. I dont have an aftermarket filter on the car either. Thanks for all the replies.

 

Having similar problems. Bought a 1996 Audi A4 with an after market air intake on it. Car drives fine, just the vibrating idle that is the problems.

Codes p300-p303. I have cleaned the MAF, changed the plugs and coils and today while checking vacuum lines got a p1101 code.

 

I get random vibrating but nothing to worry about it could be your pre oxygen sensor
